Not Saddam's fault

In Michael Gorsline's letter of April 9, he asks if the leaders of Germany and France have already forgotten 9/11, then brags that "our president is doing exactly what he said he would do shortly after 9/11: bring those responsible to justice."

But is he? I thought Osama bin Laden and al-Qaeda were responsible for 9/11. The extent of Bush's evidence of a link to Saddam Hussein proved weak at best and insulting at worst. The hijackers of the 9/11 flights were mostly from Saudi Arabia. But we can't attack Saudi Arabia because they're our biggest Arab ally.

Did Mr. Gorsline forget already that Saddam is not responsible for 9/11?
