Wrong stance

The Caller-Times has its head in the same sandpile as Mayor Neal. The statement that a war in Iraq "has nothing to do with municipal government" is absurd (editorial, March 8).

What is more important to a military town than a senseless and immoral war? Explain to the recipients of the body bags that they are irrelevant. Have you checked the national economy lately? In a "trickle down" economy, the national economic burden is passed down to the states and then to the cities. I believe a bankrupt nation will affect our "municipal government."
