News Monday, 17 March, 2003: Apparently, our administration has "drawn the line in the sand." If and when the war starts, STAP will be gathering in front of the Federal Courthouse (Interstate 37 & Shoreline Drive), dressed in black. Please note that Courthouse property runs all the way out to the street curb. Therefore, we may have to gather across Shoreline on the seawall. The weekend activities went well. about a dozen STAP members braved the steady rain for an hour and a half, silently protesting the impending war. KRIS-TV came out and interviewed Milena Worsham. And last night's Candlelight Vigil was attended by 45 STAP members and other local citizens concerned about the impending war. KIII-TV covered the gathering and interviewed several of the attendees. for older news, see our News Archive |
