The PFA Steering Committee met on Sunday afternoon, Feb 23. We chose a few officers. Chair of the PFA Steering Committee is Susan Peeples. David Owen will continue to act as official spokesperson. And Kathryn Williams will act as the Steering Committee's Historian.

Wednesday, Feb 26 is MoveOn.org's Virtual March on Washington. This will be an excellent way to flood our Representatives with our opinions. People all over the country are doing this, and we want to keep our officials busy answering their phones, faxes, and emails all day. Go to:

Thursday night, Feb 27, we have two events at Creative Spirit, 505 S. Water St. in downtown Corpus Christi (directions: http://www.lotuscup.com/theCenter.html):
At 7:30pm, is Fern Katz' talk.
And at 8:30pm, after Ms. Katz' talk, we will be having a regular PFA meeting. This will be an important meeting, as the newly-formed Steering Committee will be presenting our next steps for our organization to take. We will also be looking for volunteers to man various committees-- there will be something for everybody!
